I see you are unfamiliar with Joan’s patented brand of “assignment written the night before it’s due” articles.
That kinda went... nowhere
I submitted my real-world idea to the “What Kind Of Car Should I Buy?” guys but so far I haven’t been featured. Here’s my similar dilemma, and my best plan:
I don't get why, if your wife is the specialist, you feel you have any room to refer to that in your commentary here. If she were a surgeon would you be giving surgery advice?
IN THE OPENING PASSAGE, it’s revealed that he’s still functional enough to be completely living on his own.
He has nothing to offer except his wife’s bona fides.
Reminds me of an elderly care facility I read about years ago. They had issues with residents wandering off in confusion, but they didn’t want to make the place a prison to keep them inside. Instead, they built a bus stop right in front of the building. The residents would go out to the bus stop on their way to…
I successfully defended a woman on vehicular manslaughter charges arising from her running down and killing an elderly man with senile dementia. He found the car keys that his children hid, went for a drive, got lost, ran out of gas, and walked out in front of my client as she drove down the freeway.
Each person with dementia is different. They all have daily paths and patterns that they go down, and the caretaker has to pick the best approach to handle it - the lesser evil. Dude, money spent obtaining the car is money spent on the car. The customs fees and shipping costs gets your glorified enclosed golf cart clocking in at $3500 for the actual cost, right?
He might have an easier time strapping the Changli atop his canoe.
Gah, has it been three months already? Feels like you got this thing 3 days ago. Or 300 years. I don’t know anymore. Time has ceased to have any meaning...
This whole experiment is worthless unless you post pictures of your canoe strapped to the top of the Changli.
Couple of thoughts:
“Nobody is babying the Changli.“
Um, Torch, why didn’t you just remove the visor and tighten the tensioning screws?
Great point about more time to explain.
It’s funny how everyone seems to be pressed about her slot except for her. Standard convention protocol is suddenly an insult because reasons. I very much enjoy AOC and firmly believe she’s something special in American politics, and I hope to be able to vote for her down the line. But, she’s a first term…
