The AV Club has been running these slideshows pretty aggressively at least the last few weeks. As soon as I seen one, I just close it. Don’t need to read it that bad.

I knew it was a typo, but god damn if that didn’t produce a glorious mental image, didn’t it?
I think loving it is okay. I mean, I have a stupid love for this thing:
The extension appears to have been done in a garage. I mean like my garage, where the tools are geared more toward woodworking and house wiring.
Since I haven’t tried looking this up anywhere else yet - for the info for whats-his-name, do you need to use Assess on an enemy more than once to get a “complete” data set? Or do you only need to do it once for him, and the rest is just if you want to know current status and such?
Yeah I mean, this letter could almost be me. Different job, older Corolla but fewer miles, now with family, living in central NY... Camry with AWD sounded exactly like the DD I want/need.
(Since others have already done the joke better, here’s my version anyway:)
Well, it was about a $100 telescope (on Amazon, anyway), 70mm refracting, I think? So not super cheap.
I’m the kind of idiot who went out and bought a small telescope with no real experience. And couldn’t figure out why no matter how much he adjusted, he couldn’t even get the *Moon* to be more than a bright blob.
Yep. I actually got a PS4 within the first 2ish(?) years of it being out, which for me was crazy early, only cuz my then-local Sam’s Club had sort of a pre-Black Friday sale (that I had to get up and drive across town for at like 5am on a Saturday, lol), AND I got like an extra $40 knocked off by opening a Sam’s Club…
I kinda feel like, to the question of the spaces between, you’d have horizontal channels near the top of the sides running the whole length, maybe with one across the back of the cab area, and then the shell/top would have corresponding ‘tabs’/ledges (not sure of the best term) that would slide into them. So when used…
I’m worried about the loss of space due to headliner+bedliner panels, plus as another thread points out, maybe bedliner on the bed itself for when the top is on?
like
warshipsthe Titanic, but even bigger!
“Bust Out Another Thousand Trillion”
I mean, you could argue The Rock, which he did with Nic Cage there, where he starts with “long prison hair” as terrible, but the neatly-trimmed look he’s rocking after the haircut is perfectly respectable.
...You’d be getting passed by David Tracy in his latest rustbucket Moab project.*
Could be. I saw others downthread also mentioning DOT regs, so no idea. Maybe not for reverse lights, anyway?
Yeah, my DD is coming up on 17 years old in a few months, and lovely snow belt winters have done a number on it. I’ve been looking forward to that supposed AWD 2020 Camry [don’t judge me, it’s an appliance, but that’s what I want for my DD] that was to be coming here in the spring, per Jalopnik last fall. Haven’t seen…
I wanna say Former Jalop writer Doug DeMuro, in pointing out one of the “quirks” of some hatchback or other, mentioned that US laws require having those lights on non-moving parts of the car, so you can’t have your (only) reverse lights on the hatch. So maybe that’s why?
Yeah, they could be lying, but I literally just now got an email from Amazon claiming my Deluxe Edition is now eligible for release day delivery. Have to see how it actually goes though.
