I only do it on rare occasions, but if I have to use speaker in the car, I practically have to hold up to my face for the other person to hear me clearly.
Have. They still do here in NY. I mean, I love the E/W/N/S designations (handier than A/B/C... etc), but give me a mile #, dammit!
I totally do that with most fast food - I start with my fries, then move on to the main. Primary exceptions would be Arby’s curly fries (although I will usually at least start them, I may not finish), and KFC potato wedges.
Just as a thought, not sure when you go, but if it’s overnight, the machines may be in an automatic heat cycle (to prevent bacterial growth and stuff) and can’t be used. At least, that’s how they used to be when I worked there in the late ‘90s, before they went to 24 hour drive thrus.
From experience: 4+ hours is correct, it’s a lot of stuff to tear down and clean up, and putting it all back is a very specific process, and if you don’t do stuff right (there were warm and cold rinse cycles you had to do), the sensors in the machine don’t ‘unlock’ it for you, and you have to do at least some parts of…
And since the majority of the union (specifically, the power players) are post-arb, what incentive do they have to give up anything for players who are pre-arb?
but the Ranger? That should be alright for the launch year, since it’s still based on the Rest of World version.
I’ve seen 2000+ multiple times. Over 1K easily. It’s more often though when I’m opening a response from notifications, for some reason.
I want to say that the actress who played the oldest daughter on The Cosby Show was something like only 10 years younger than Phylicia Rashad, too.
Upstate NY here. Same.
My 6 year old is currently on a Yokai Watch kick, thanks to Netflix. And thus, I’m constantly hearing stories about how Nate and Katie are coming to visit him, or are riding in the car with us to school :P
CTL + SHIFT + ARROW, then delete, for large sections.
I can’t be certain, but I passed a car once on the highway where it looked like their rear wheel was moving up and down WAY too much to be staying on for much longer. I just kept up speed and hoped to leave any potential mess well behind me...
I remember seeing Xzibit on like, Jimmy Kimmel or something, and even he was like, “yeah, they all sold them after the show. Except for this one guy who we did his ice cream van” - and I knew the exact episode he was talking about.
Yeah, last thing I sent back was around Christmas, my wife and I were out on a date night, and my beer came out, and I realized after a couple sips and looking at it, that it was totally flat (taste was just off, and there were literally almost no bubbles to be seen). I definitely sent that back, with explanation, and…
Whiskey/whisky/bourbon. A bunch, really, all due to one night in college. My one and only blackout/memory gap.
Plus a Tenacious D cameo!
At this point, even if it *was* still ready to be used (they may have expanded the convention space more permanently into it, I dunno), I suspect St. Louis would tell the NFL and the Raiders to go pound sand on general principles (also: I believe the lawsuit is still ongoing, which would make it tricky). Even if there…
As a random aside, it’s kind of a nice touch how much John Cazale looks like a younger version of Marlon Brando as Vito Corleone in that scene. More than DeNiro did, actually. Adds a subtle ‘he’s definitely Vito’s son’ thing that gives an extra bit of... I dunno. But anyway.
