I have this same ‘problem’ with jewelry. My wife doesn’t even have pierced ears. On special occasions, she’ll wear one of the few necklaces I bought her while we were dating, and on REALLY fancy occasions, she’ll wear her engagement ring (although that’s in part about how much it sticks up, she wears her wedding ring

While we’re at it, are we gonna get a New New Outer Limits, too? (I actually caught a few eps of the ‘90s version back in the day, and thought they were actually pretty good.)

Sounds like something I caught in one of the documentaries/get togethers the Monty Python guys did, that’s back on Netflix. This one was them sitting around talking about the show and other stuff, and I think it was Cleese who opined (and the others agreed) that you couldn’t do Python in the same way today in that,

Watch the opening of the original Die Hard again. There’s a gas station in view as they start panning up the skyscraper, with gas at either $0.799 or $0.899 / gal...

+1 Morgenspaziergang

Pretty sure that’s broken. I’ve got 2 plates and 15 screws in my right leg after my foot looked like that after slipping on ice in March.

You can have my booths, and I’ll take your tables. I always feel squished in at booths, and I hate either being trapped, or having to get up any time someone needs to use the bathroom (or go back to the buffet, when they do it to us at a work lunch).

Hell, the parts of O’Hare I’ve had to make connections through (B terminal?), there’s like one McDonald’s anywhere *near* some of the gates that’s open past like, 7pm. Dunno where these other shops and stuff are, but I’ve definitely skipped meals due to not having time to do that McDonald’s and get back to my gate cuz

I mean, “hand delivered (probably)“ to Soros, and all the other stuff in/about NYC, I was thinking somebody at least close to NY/NJ or whatever.

Yeah, I was running into an article a little bit ago that mentioned Chicago thin crust, Midwest thin crust, and then St. Louis-style, which is a variant on the Midwest as well, but besides the typical Provel (which I remembered), is traditionally an unleavened crust (which I sorta remember by texture, but hadn’t

Go on. You know you want to.

“Wafer thin crust + square cut” sounds pretty much like the “St. Louis style” I grew up with, too :D

Not the ones up by me, apparently.

As an aside: I miss when they used to have just regular honey for dipping McNuggets in.

The planned route is in the original article, IIRC, they’re gonna stay south. Looks like they’ll pick up I-80 no later than Chicago and stay there til NYC.

I still remember watching that draft with the Aaron Rodgers slide. He was like the last one left in the green room off stage... for a while.

Now playing

Been a while since I’ve felt the need to use this one:
