How about OSHA regulations (for US-based devs)?

I’m assuming they timed it themselves. From when I worked at McD’s in high school (in St. Louis), if we had the next DT order ready, we’d clear it off the screen to stop the timer. (IIRC, the ‘goal’ was 90 seconds, which was never realistic.)

In my experience (all inside, not drive thru), KFC is neither terribly accurate NOR fast.

Yeah, I always wondered what the point of sitting in a Steak ‘n Shake or Panera drive thru was. You’ve got multiple minutes for them to cook and assemble everything, might as well come inside...

Maybe it’s a fried chicken place thing? I have the same issue with KFC and waiting. In fact, there’s a combo KFC/Taco Bell near my work that we on occasion go to grab lunch, but no matter what you’re getting, they totally operate at “KFC speed”.

I mean, sucks for the Browns, but they were getting the doors blown off at the end of the day anyway, so it’s not like the First Down That Wasn’t against the Raiders.

Who’s worse? Marlins Man, or the John 3:16/rainbow wig guy? (In terms of in-game stuff, John 3:16 guy’s doing 3 consecutive life sentences for holding some poor hotel maid hostage or something like that.)

There is a huge difference in the attitude towards waiters on either side of the pond. In the U.S, waiting tables is a good service job that people are proud to do well. Thus they are treated by customers as consummate professionals.

For better (for the locals) or worse (for owners/potential owners), Kroenke pretty well poisoned the well in STL for that kind of stuff for at least a little while when he moved the Rams.

I thought I remembered that “Typhoon” was the NATO name, while “Akula” was the actual Russian name for the class. (Complicated by the fact that NATO then used “Akula” for the attack subs.)
