I mean, it depends on the hotel. And the security isn’t gonna be that close, versus at a convention, where you could have at least one actual guard and possibly another ‘minder’/volunteer/helper present to also help keep an eye on things.

Hell, I’d be worried enough with the *second* half of that last sentence. If you’re gonna meet fans, only do it at a con or something where hopefully there’s ‘proper’ security.

Just as an aside, I seem to recall Mythbusters looked at the 10% thing with MRIs while doing different tasks, and to my (untrained) eye, while it might not have been as low as 10%, it WAS true you weren’t necessarily using ALL the different areas of your brain all the time, depending on what kind of thing you were…
