Is 100 HP at 4,000 RPM is responsive? Having to rev to 7,000 RPM to make 200HP is just dumb. And no a flat torque curve at 140 TQ is not fast or responsive either. A stock WRX is pushing 30% more HP and 40% more torque at 4,000 RPM. Which would you rather have? It’s not like the WRX is even that fast either.

Yep, this is exactly it. I live in the Midwest where the average household income is $30-40k a year. Dodge Journey and Jeep Renegade type vehicles are everywhere. They are about $10k less than vehicles like a CRV or Rav4.
Not really true at all. MAF cleaning should be done every year or 2. As long as you don’t over oil the K&N, the MAF won’t be much dirtier and definitely won’t affect performance in any noticeable way. Oil might be a little dirtier, but even that is mitigated by proper changes.
