Exactly - most drugs fail to completely metabolize in the body; a waste water treatment plant does very little (if anything) to these drugs. Completely agree - they don’t do photoshop, CAD, or similar things. But for most people, that’s not even part of the equation. And even if you do use these, it’s normally cheaper to buy a hefty desktop that can, and use the chromebook for all the “other” stuff, instead of buying a powerful laptop.
I bought a chromebook 3 years after my daughter decided to water my macbook for me. After about a year, I decided to buy a “real” laptop, loaded with Windows 8, used it for a week before nuking it and installing Linux. I used that for about 6 months before I really missed my chromebook. Ended up selling that and…
