When is Hollywood going to reboot Sinbad? (As in the Middle Eastern pirate, not the comedian).

Oh, right, you. Always a pleasure.

Well that's the misconception. But as many writers have pointed out, female-led movies more often outpace male-led movies than you'd think. I believe it was either last year or 2013 where 7/10 top grossing movies had a female lead.

Who are not people? What?

Did I say no one should care about others? I suggested they find something more worthwhile to complain about than the relative wealth of famous people.

If the other actor is Russell Crowe, then she needs to shut up. She's easily worth 1/10 of Russell Crowe, whether he sang well or not, the man is a serious star who's helmed some of the highest-grossing, critically-acclaimed films of my lifetime.

I thought it was Russell Crowe. He got an Oscar for A Beautiful Mind.

I'm just continuously amazed by people who care about the wage gap among CEO's and famous media people. How about they invest that same energy into, you know, the plight of working women and stuff. I think our society can deal with a starlet making $1 million and her co-star making $10 million.

Seems like Jennifer Lawrence got the hint, since also today they reported she's making $8 million more than Chris Pratt on Passengers

Man I'm glad I'm not famous when I read stuff like this. I can't imagine having every stupid thing I've ever said broadcast nationally.

I agree, I feel like this show hasn't been given any kind of a chance. Even the initial review was like, "Veep this, Veep that, why isn't this Veep?" Pissin me off…

Agreed, they'd need to do a lot of fan service, and if it wasn't done "right" they'd lose their audience. Evangelical Christians are the ultimate fantasy nerds (I just mean in the sense that they demand stories be told "just so" not in an anti-religious way).

Eh, the show's 30 minutes of fluff. I'm sure it could get truly obnoxious at some point but I've vaguely enjoyed it so far.

I think a show based after the events of the bible could be pretty good. The early Christian church, persecuted by the Romans and desperately clinging to the edges of society. Anyone who's ever been to Cappadocia can attest to the fact that early Christianity was some rough and tumble stuff. Churches hidden deep

So if I don't see virulent sexism in every last thing it is accused of being in, I believe it doesn't exist and am keeping women down? I believe people like to look at sexy people in their entertainment, and that that isn't wrong. Do you have a problem with the existence of Magic Mike?

For God's sake let the children age! Haley is still a mindless ditz, and Alex is still an unbearable know-it-all early teenager. I'm blown away every time I occasionally turn on an episode that they're still the exact same people.

And when you steal her recipes for dinner parties she fucking sues your ass into oblivion.

psst. that's how I meant it I'm just covering myself

I meant it like "Whoa nelly, slow down that God-hating train!"

What I find most ironic about the movie "God's Not Dead", is that the evangelicals agree with Nietzche just about every day on cable news. "What has our society become, no one cares about God anymore, God is removed from the classroom, God has been removed from the courtroom, the gay marriage agenda has taken over,
