I’m thinking parachute recovery like Cirrus aircraft is the only reasonably successful method but just imagine dropping a 1,000lb (Cessna 152 Empty Weight), car shaped, pod on a parachute inside one of the skyscraper valleys in NYC. What’s the bet that your not going to break a few windows and send glass shards

I worked hard to get my private pilot license before I graduated high school. I know the work it takes to fly even something as simple as a Cessna 172 from facilities built specifically for aircraft. I’ve also seen how most Americans drive. The workloads are not comparable.

I’m from Pennsylvania and ALSO do not approve of Ohio.

Running, manual, turbo, drop top for $4k. Hell even if it was a Geo Metro that checked all those boxes it would be nice price.

Honestly the thing that bothers me the most about this bill is the fact that there already exists regulation on items such as headlight height and lifts. Given that there is, as you laid out, a maximum headlight height, and a maximum lift requirement as well as a state safety inspection, the signs are that existing

I need a sticker for my car that just claims “Worth Less than KBB.” I honestly fear my POS being stolen more than kids.

There is an inherent “sportiness” in the RWD architecture that helps sell hearts and minds as well as the fact that RWD splits the workload between the 4 wheels of the car. Turing forces are handled by the front wheels, acceleration forces are handled by the rear wheels. 90+% of the issues with older rear wheel drive

So once this fails and proves we care absolutely ZERO about pedestrians or the environment, can we PLEASE get pop-up headlights back?

It’s like listening to MXC. They make the video.

Does the name get longer with more horsepower? Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody Automatic WTF BBQ LMNOP Mark 2.... my god.

I drive a 1993 Nissan. I cannot state how wonderful ABS actually is in modern cars.

I know nothing of your engine or the specific problem but:

Saab: Here is a button to turn off all interior lights except your speedometer. It will help your night vision and keep you safe.

I’m thinking less individual pilot per plane and more along the lines of Air Traffic Control Approach and Departure. The plane taxis on its own from the gate to the runway, ATC gets it airborne and hands off to auto pilot, it flies to destination, enters the pattern, and if bad weather is in the area ATC lands,

I’d assume they could also throw the torque numbers there too. Modern trains are a diesel motor to generate electricity but the actual motive force is provided by electrics with full torque at almost zero RPM. I imagine Ford is going to try and sell this thing as an absolute stump puller as well.

With Drones the technology already exists to cover those sections of the flight envelope as well. At minimum a remote pilot could carry out those duties as well.

Depends on the car and condition:

1st Gear: Honestly this sounds like a farce on the surface “We are developing technology to remove the human driver, so we need a guarantee the current human drivers have a job, acting as a human driver in a driverless vehicle.”

PA has two seasons. Winter and Road Construction. But with half the year devoted to roadwork, nothing ever gets repaired.
