Yep and PS is different that US Horsepower. Sadly the only people to take on fully metric measurements are Australia/New Zealand. Its impressive to see a 1000hp car, but 1 Megawatt, now that is just incredible.

Oh, God....I learned to drive stick in a 1993 Escort LX Wagon. 1.9L single cam motor, no tach, mouse fur seats, and automatic belts. In Escort Green as well...

It was my first car, a gift from parents, and I learned a lot from working on that car. Especially the knowledge that “If it came apart, there is a damn good chance it can go back together”. It wasn’t a good investment from a money standpoint but it was excellent from la learning perspective, and it got me some

So what you’re saying is “New MR2: Confirmed”. Awesome!

Liberty Mutual: We insure your car, have no clue how they work, and figure you don’t either. That will be $276.89/mo to protect your Doge Cheerger. Thank you for your business.

I like the idea of a dyno sheet on the advertising. I doubt many people will take the time to be able to read them, but those of us that can it would make life great. My 240 has a sharp fall off in torque and HP after 5K, but the transmission is tuned to spin the motor between 5-6k for passing.

The reason horsepower stay around is the same reason the US still works in Imperial (even if the definitions are all metric). People are lazy and don’t want to change.

A great example of this was my 2002 Ford Focus Automatic. Factory Rated 130HP. At the crank of course. When I wanted to start modifying it, the speed shop had just gotten a dyno in and wanted to see what the automatic Foci made at the tires since they had a manual shop car. 3 dyno runs latter produced an average

This is me under my S13. “WHY IN THE HELL DID THEY PUT THIS HERE?!?!” “Stop breaking all the time!!”

Definitely going to follow. I don’t do the Builds. Just my budy.

Here is your box. Please stay within it.” - Marketing Team

Turbo?

My god. That would be insanely stupid. You have predicted the future.

You need to make a drive down Routes 11/15 in Snyder county PA. It’s either religious billboards proclaiming proof of God or advertisements for the MANY adult bookstores and strip clubs...

The Mach 1 is an AutoART model so no work done by me on that besides some window decals for a car show and drag racing.

Until my commissions come in (A80 Supra w/targa top and 93 Nissan 240SX Convertible) I proudly display the 3 most important cars to me in my office.

I learned automatic first. I tried manual but couldn’t get the hang of it so we stayed with auto since my car was an auto. My old man took the idea that “you will learn traffic behavior and mundane stuff driving, you need the emergency stuff as muscle memory” so all my my “training”, which took place the entire year I

DO IT!!

That’s a thought actually. I’m just not sure if I want to overwhelm her. I learned automatic and then about 6mo later when the transmission blew up I learned stick.

I taught my wife manual transmission in a 2004 Mustang Mach 1. Shes 5'1" tall and handicapped. She drives the car every now and then for fun.
