Toyota seems interested in working with other companies to revive their classic sports car nameplates or the feeling of the cars. Subaru helped bring a modern AE86 to market and BMW is helping with the Supra. So with that in mind....

Hell yeah I do. That's my next family car. Green with gold rims and stripes.
Arias Forged 8.8:1 compression Pistons .020" oversized on Eagle Forged H-Beam rods. The motor was built and spec’d for 500hp with the plan to run no more than 400. Overbuilt to survive near daily driving and some drag racing.
Do they make a passenger version. The wife wants a minivan and well....
I’m at Wife and Children. I had to short out the ECU in my car to have a good enough reason to spend a day in the garage.
My first 240SX. It was a 93 Coupe. Was going to be built into a Turbo KA. The goal was 400whp and under 3,000lb weight. Would have had custom aircraft inspired seats and paint job, Silvia nose, and water/methanol injection. Got as far as stripping the chassis and building the turbo motor. Then I moved in with my GF…
FYI the KA24DEs in the 240SX are Japanese built motors are are unique from the KA24DE in the Hardbodys and both are unique from the FWD KA24DEs in the Altima. They are not interchangable.
Agreed.
Why..Why did you have to turn that knife again.....
Oh look Peugeot is showing us a cool retro coupe. This will obviously come out to great fanfare, a strong interest from younger buyers towards a cheap, retro sporty car, and then NOTHING WILL COME OF IT.
Awesome! I plan on handing down the 240SX to my kids. That way THEY can deal with fixing it....
Only thing that stops the 3yo is that she isn’t strong enough to push the buckles in yet.
I routinely shove a 1yo and 3yo in car seats in the back of my 1993 Nissan 240SX Convertible. It’s nice when I can do the work with the top down but I’ve dealt with getting them in and out of the car with the top up. Once the kids are a certain age (about 2.5yo in my case) they can climb into/out of the seat…
Thank you for your concern. (Honestly, thank you.)
Do you walk on the sidewalk? Someone could come off the street and hit you. Do you eat food? You could choke on some and die. Do you drink liquids? Risk of death there. Do you shower? You could slip and fall. No? A bath then? Drowning. Anything you do carries a risk of death. Hell, even inaction carries a risk of…
Well it appears that the teams and sponsors are paying attention. After the outcry over this act, I’m glad to see that he will not be allowed to race with his current team and hopefully will not be picked up by any other teams after this.
Brilliant idea...Combine Ford and Harley Davidson. It’s like making antigravity with a cat and buttered toast. They are both failing so hard that together they can’t fail.
