You make a compelling argument....Is the tank supplied with the car and $30k?
Grinding gears in a synchromesh transmission won’t destroy the gears. What it will do is royally screw up the blocker ring. I used to drag race my 04 Mach 1 and the 2-3 shift tended to be balky and got worse as time went on. After a while you couldn’t get into 3rd without a grind unless the revs were PERFECT. Pulled…
Ever looked at a used HD? HD riders ALWAYS ride just the rear brake. The front brake sees as much use as the turn signal on BMW.
I took the Motorcycle Rider Course to get my licenese and when we were finally let on the bikes, lesson 1 was how to get on/off the bike. Lesson 2-4 were how to use the clutch:
I have an 04 Mach 1 and can reliably cruise as low as 900 without issues. BUT if I need ANY acceleration, it goes down a gear or two before I add throttle.
NOT EVEN if someone gave me that much to take the car. Jesus, this think needs to be run over with a tank. I know, lets import it to the Philippines....
Oh I remember that fever dream well, not the show I was thinking of but so worth watching. Someone pointed out it was Bullrun...
Thank you!
... a high-stakes tournament series where daring drivers from across the globe compete for the glory on one of the largest automotive obstacle courses ever constructed.
Makes watching Cars 3 (my 3yo daughter’s FAVORITE movie) all the more impacting.
I have finally reached the age where the drivers I watched in Nascar are all retiring. It is a weird feeling.
Just look at my 240SX, it sat for almost 5 years before I got it running again. All because of a tiny little wire to the fuel injector. I now drive the car almost daily.
I drive a less than reliable 240SX Convertible, so for $2,750 this is a steal. Its a manual which I miss driving, its a SAAB so its different, its a wagon which means the wife would OK it and the kiddos car seats would fit better, and it has a roof-rack which our C-Max lacks.....
Very Cool!
You’re in Utah?
What? No mention of “The Bastard”? The only SR-71C, built from forward fuselage of the static SR-71 test unit and the rear fuselage from the first YF-12 which had been damaged in a landing crash. Apparently it was not assembled perfectly straight and had a noticeable yaw at speed...
Yep!. If you look at the first pic you can see a second tube above the motor. That tube is connected to the motor tube at the far end.
BTW, these photos were taken today. She’s held up well.
