I would KILL to see an episode like this.

The drift tax is real so even though this one is rough visually, the fact that the frame in the pics looks OK means NP.

Ryan,

Hooray!! Someone else remembers the Aerocoupe!!!! I thought I was all alone.....

240SX Convertible.

A non-functioning radio was the first sign that my car was not in good shape.

The 240SX Vert I have instructs you to keep the belts latched and to crawl in/out under the belts. Major PITA. I just use them like normal belts.

Even more nightmarish is how ASC handled the passive seatbelt rule when they chopped the roof off of cars. Google 240SX comvertible seat belts.

So on the fence with this one. The dead radio scares me because someone could have been poking around in there and wiring is not my strong suit. BUT.....

You’re honestly going to tell me you can hear the world around you better in one of the fully insulated modern cars better than I can with Bluetooth ear buds in my 1993 Japanese convertible?

Infotainment in my 240SX Vert is perfect. Bluetooth earbuds and a phone with unlimited data. Oh and a top that goes down paired with an engine that is at lease acceptable sounding at full tilt....

Give these guys a call. I got a tour of thier older facility before the fire (illegal pot grower next door burned the place down). Excellent guys, great business, and they truly care about the quality of the cars.

Where are the Planeteers? We need Captain Planet NOW!!

The Campbell clan always fascinated me. They are distant relatives of mine and I sometime like to think maybe there is really a “Speed Gene” that explains why my father’s side of my family have all been involved in racing of some sort and why I love going fast anywhere, land, sea, or air.

That sounds like an awesome car and a bit of a headache!

Has anything about this project made sense???

Go to Facebook and search for the “240SX Convertible Owners” group. There are a few verts that are clean and unmolested that are for sale there. IIRC $4,500 is about the going rate.

My daughter is 3 years old as of last week. She follows directions very well and knows not to take her harness off. She knows she gets in BIG trouble if she does. I’ve also got her taught to keep a hand on a tail light of our cars while I get her brother out of the cars when we are in a parking lot. She’s a remarkably

You should see the bracing they added to the car. It looks armor plated. By Patrick’s post I’m assuming he doesn’t want a drifter, he’s just after it for its looks, so the bit of rigidity lost by the Vert isn’t an issue.
