HUD swaps are an easy change. Buy the body style you want, then swap in HUD Unit. I have all the directions on modifying a non-HUD dash to accept a HUD.

Best bet for a clean, mod-free one is a Vert. In fact check “240SX Convertible Owners” on facebook. I seem to recall a clean, bone stock one for sale recently. I’d say $4,500 or so?
If you do and have issues, you know who to give a call to!
Besides the damaged metal, NO RUST on this one.
The front clip used was just the frame metal after all of the JDM parts were removed. It is normally a scrap item for Nick at Elite JDM.
It's not patience. It's outright bull headed stubbornness lol.
That is what I was looking into actually!
Thank you!
Was not texting. Was following too close and this is my first non-abs car. Panicked, locked the brakes, and slid. Very very stupid on my part. I now leave a much longer following distance. Previous car was a 2004 Mach 1 so big brakes and ABS.
My next fight is an AC compressor that likes to detach from the engine block randomly. A day of wrenching and some loctite should fix that.
Going to do my best to get the “240SX From Hell” out to this. Keep an eye on The Car Dad for updates. Search @stupidcarfact on Facebook.
Add my vote. +1 CP lol.
Not one single mention of the damage. Claimed the car was great and his son had gotten it for a bad top or something I think. I can't remember. I honestly got a super bad vibe from him and feared he'd kill me for the cash if I didn't buy the car.
Told you she was a basket case lol.
Corvette still offers them IIRC. They show speed and a tach.
It's all good.
Young and stupid is the description of how I got here....
David picks the cars with KNOWN issues. But I do feel a kindered spirit reading his articles. Especially when he finds some PO hack job he has to fix.
Well you’d get a CP vote from me for sure!
