The term for this in an aircraft is P-Factor. It occurs at high angle of attack and high thrust (i.e. Takeoff) It will affect even aircraft as small as a Cessna 152.

Woo Hoo York County PA! let’s keep it crazy!!!

It’s ASC, in the 240sx they added somewhere around 300lbs of additional bracing IIRC.

Only NASCAR I watch anymore is the road courses and the super tight ovals like Bristol. I mean, let's not kid ourselves here, no one really watches NASCAR for the racing when it's on a super speedway. If I want to see talented drivers I'll enjoy the road course races, if I want to see demolition derby then give me

I have a 240sx convertible. I park it with the doors unlocked and if I’m out for a short time (running into the store, etc) where I don’t expect rain and I’ve had the top down, I just keep it down. I’d rather have some ass rummage and find nothing than cut through my damn top.

Does my own eBay auction count? I loved the 240SX convertible as a kid, I ended up getting one, then I put it up for sale....

Oh dear God, another ASC built convertible. As the owner of a 240SX convertible, I can say I understand why the photos here only show one kind-of interior shot. ASC was great at making a convertible look good on the outside but their interior work falls somewhere between “coked up third grader” and “lobotomy patient

I learned in a car like this (not this exact car). A 1991 Ford Escort Wagon. Base model with the 1.9SPI motor and no tach. I ended up burning out the auto trans in my focus during drag racing and needed a car to get to and from school. My dad tossed me the keys to his 100,000+ mile escort and said “Looks like you need

Holy crap! That's amazing! You are extremely talented.

IVI did work on all range of cars. When I visited them in Feb of 2015, they were a repair garage as well as an importer. There were a few domestics in the garage especially old caddies IIRC.

Matt,

How is it to find convertible specific replacement components? I’ve found some parts for my 240SX convertible to be easy to source (rear window switches to be exact) but some to be competent non existent like the roof latch pockets.

So wanted to paint my S13 Coupe this color and do the Silvia conversion. I hate you so much for reminding me. But then I now have a pearl white S13 convertible so I guess it's all ok.

At this point that should be obvious. The Tesla end goal is to become a supplier of high technology batteries. That is why he released the patents, built the gigafactory, and started selling the battery packs for residential energy storage. And you know what? I don't see any issues with that.

Yep! The styling, the noise, and the somewhat recalcitrant carb all give that 80's feeling.

She is a fun ride. It’s really odd because you sit partially in the bike but also kinda on the bike. It vibrates like crazy due to the motor even though it has a vibration isolation mount system. The motor is a stressed member of the frame. If you ever get a chance to ride one, do so!

Sadly I get shit from both sides. I ride a Buell S2 Thunderbolt. Harley guys hate me because it looks like an 80's crotch rocket and Sport Bike guys hate me because it is an American bike and announces the fact far before you see it.

I am waiting on this car with the hopes of it coming out sooner rather than later. I need a family car, a 2004 Mach 1 just isn’t cutting it, and a "cheap" Tesla would fit the bill perfectly. Sadly "will start production in about 2 years" is about a year too far....

I don’t have a photo of it but I have one of those tags in the rear window of my 04 Mach 1. I've taken the little one in the car once so far and she loved it.

Vapor ware. Or so we can all hope. I tuned in late but they lost me when they mentioned zero gravity seats (doesn’t work for Nissan, won’t work for you) and a helmet with an integrated air and water supply. Great. Just what I needed. A ridiculous helmet so I can look like a mentally challenged alien after this thing
