I think it depends on the industry you work in. I had a similar experience, except it was with suits fresh outta law school. My bosses actually paid for three new designer suits and the tailoring. How I look matters to the clients and as long as they’re paying the bills...

This is exactly what is happening. She is dealing with a combination of tort reform and GTCA reforms that have crippled plaintiffs in OK. Some counties have not seen a successful plaintiff’s verdict in years.
To answer the actual question and keeping with the theme of tort reform, her damages are capped at $75K in Okla. There is simply no more for her to ask for, well...a little equitable justice would be nice, but the OK legislature sold that to oil companies a long time ago.

The DoL does not have the authority to arrest anyone. They usually work in conjunction with agencies who do, such as ICE, DHS (homeland security), and the IRS. Trust me, once the IRS catches wind of them dodging payroll taxes, somebody is definitely going to jail. Do not mess with the IRS.
