In grade 2, we moved from Boston to a rural part of Wisconsin. During recess at my new school, I called a girl a motherfucker, and for some reason she screamed at the top of her lungs and ran to tell the teacher. Boy, was I surprised! Anyway, my point is that she somehow must have been already familiar with the word.

I went to (an expensive boarding/prep) school with the very punk Gerard Cosloy (he was later expelled (punk!). But he didn’t sit at the weirdo table. He was too busy getting shit done.

Honestly, the number of 16-17 year old voters will probably not make any real difference in outcomes, but it gets them used to voting at a young age, which will likely increase voter turnout in the long run, so I say it’s a good thing.

To be fair, someone has to be 5th from the bottom of the class.
