My problem with this is that why would a teacher ask children (or anyone) to write “journals” if they weren’t prepared to have them express their thoughts?

As Joe Jackson sang back in (about?) ‘79, “And if the Russians ever come/ They’ll all be beating… bongo drums.” (Speaking in the voice of an old-timer about kids-these-days.) Looks like he was right in the end.
While the Gilbert Gottfried version is certainly funnier, Kushner’s own voice is worth listening to because you’ll be reminded of listening to the falling cadences of a boy in 7th grade reading his book report that was written by his mother and which will earn him a B-.
Errr… “stellar”. Apparently my conscious self can’t type.
Looks like I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue.
Stelkar as always! Is it just me or has his subconscious become more cynical lately?
I gave up watching Grey’s Anatomy many years ago, but good on her for sticking it out and getting a fat paycheck out of it. Also for swearing like a sailor.
Martin Luther King Jr would have wanted Donald Trump to play golf on Martin Luther King Jr day.
The additional badges are there to replace the turn signal lamps that no self-respecting BMW driver ever uses anyway. And likewise, they are a visual signal to other drivers on the roadway that this car might just turn left or right at any time without warning. Be prepared!
It’s almost as though the words themselves are so nonsensical that the racist in question is exerting the amount of power they have by demonstrating that they can hurt us with nonsense, and if that’s so, imagine how much worse they can do.
At least the late Rob Ford was inadvertently honest about it:
Meanwhile back at the White House, 45 tries to spin his way out of another mess:
I agree. I’d prefer someone who has held public office in a capacity greater than class president, but someone who hasn’t yet been completely corrupted.
Thanks again. My mother is basically fine. She’s just at the “sometimes I wonder” stage. But she’s been at that stage for a long time now, so that’s why I wonder if she hasn’t always been this way and I just never noticed when I was younger. It may have more to do with the eccentricities of an older person who lives…
Thanks. I didn’t know about that history.
It’s funny, because Thomas Frank who wrote What’s The Matter With Kansas? specifically argued in that book that Kansas Republicans who (in his view) voted against their own interests were in fact not racist.
Thank you. Honestly I think she’s okay for now at least. She did pass her doctor-administered memory test on the second try (remember 3 words; draw a clock at 10 to 11…).
Can you imagine if “O” was president and had these numbers - would be biggest story on earth! Dow now over 25,000.
It would an even better match if you could’t quite tell by Buddha’s face whether he was angry or just shitting.
Inshallah!
