My problem with this is that why would a teacher ask children (or anyone) to write “journals” if they weren’t prepared to have them express their thoughts?

Thanks again. My mother is basically fine. She’s just at the “sometimes I wonder” stage. But she’s been at that stage for a long time now, so that’s why I wonder if she hasn’t always been this way and I just never noticed when I was younger. It may have more to do with the eccentricities of an older person who lives…
