This is horseshit. I’ve played 10+ hrs on Switch, not a bug to be found. The game feels polished, and above all, is fun to play. I’m not a professional reviewer, so that’s about all the depth I can muster, but it’s definitely a GOTY-contender for me.

My only complaint with Cult of the Lamb is that I wish there was more! It’s a great game.

I’m nearing the end of it and for me Cult of the Lamb is a solid game with a fun aesthetic but nothing groundbreaking. All of its elements work but are fairly shallow. I’d divide it into two areas, the cult sim and the roguelite combat.

I kinda hate the Isaac comparisons because the hack and slash portion is very mindless, meelee based and lacks any depth or hidden mechanics.

Its a fun game, but its definately NOT at all like binding of isaac other than having rooms with enemies. Hell its much closer to Hades in that respect.

Blasphemous is pretty great. I just recent;y came back to it - I got it day one after Kickstarting it, only to get his with a bug that erased all the character progression I’d done - new flasks, rosary beads, health upgrades, etc - and left me stuck in what I thought was pretty far into the game. Its just my go to mental health game at this point. I just throw on music or a documentary and spend a couple hours making things pretty and pristine. Its an amazing feeling.
