The fact that there was an email on this issue makes it likely that this issue was not addressed in the contract at all.

Yup, make whatever jokes you want about ScarJo & her thoughts on what roles she should get, but this seems relatively close to a slam dunk.
From the article...
Even if it is consider part of her box office share, I think it would still be a problem. If the contract says the movie will have an exclusive theatrical release, then they’ve broken that. Moreover, it seems likely that the overall box office numbers (theater and plus) are lower than what was expected. There was an…
Exactly, they fucked her over and they should be held accountable for it. Doing contract law and it’s maddening the amount of companies/contractors trying to fuck over employees/property buyers due to covid. I hope her case sets some precedent of opinion that pre-covid contracts with lots of time to renegotiate need…
From the WSJ artcile:
Wait, so do they not consider the “Premier Plus” sales to be part of her box office share? If that’s the case, then hell yeah she should sue.
I just found out that when they did the Classics Toy line about a decade ago, they actually made a “Mo-Larr, Eternian Dentist” figure and I’m sad I don’t own in.
The actor that plays Kyle is Tex-Mex, i have Tejano family and they all sound like that, y‘all.
Is the implication in the end that Lois got an off-the-record statement from her dad, made one up based on her experiences, or what?
So we have the Eradicator(Edge), Superboy(Jordan), and Steel(Irons) so all we need now is to have David Harewood show up as Hank Henshaw(Cyborg Superman) and we’ll have the entire Reign of the Supermen roster.
Chrissy and her awful haircut made a good point about Lois’s shadiness.
Sarah was right about Tegan! I would guess that Sarah just didn’t think that her intentions toward him could be sincere & she was more interested in scoring social points off him, as Jonathan figured out (he could have just trusted her...)
I was not a he-man fan, so I’m not being catered to when I say “this” to your comment
“My grandpa doesn’t share government secrets with me,” also sounds like a believable response.
This might have been the reason Sarah warned Jonathan about Tegan.
I don’t know why there is this belief that just because the kids grandfather is head of the DOD or that their mom is a reporter that they will know anymore than anybody else. Their kids! The answer should just be “How should I know. Do your parents tell you everything going on their lives? ”
This show is so great and god this is the Superman we need.
Chrissy finds the courage to challenge her idol and call Lois out on an obvious lie.
I really really hope they address the Kara/Superfriends situation soon. I get that they’re not trying to spoil plot points on Supergirl but she DID take down an evil Superman and her team can be trusted.
