I was a big fan of the original Equalizer, so I had my doubts when I heard of this. Not because the choice of for the lead but because the original had so many things going for it besides Edward Woodward, like supporting case, the Stuart Copeland score, and the location shots.

Also I never understood why Wanda got blamed for that. Not a perfect handling of the situation, but you know, it was a tough split second decision and shit happens. The suicide bomber she was trying to launch was the real culprit.

I don’t know what machine they’re testing Monica with in the scene where we’re reintroduced to her (X-ray maybe?), but the fact that it comes out blank could very well be an indication that that Wanda-blast/the Hex in general is going to be the catalyst for her powers.

I wouldn’t be surprised if having Evan Peters appear turns out NOT to be an explicit nod to the whole multiverse thing. It might just be a fun, meta-verse, thing for the viewers. As Darcy says, he’s been “recast”. And the recast might just be the whole point, it might not mean anything deeper.

I think you’re probably a lot closer to the truth with this than most people’s wild speculations (“I saw Mephisto was trending on twitter... so it MUST be him!”).

Every part of me wants to believe Vision is actually alive again and not just a zombie puppet Wanda’s animating in her dream world.

Monica was definitely “moved” by the mention of Captain Marvel, but I got the sense that her reaction was more one of anger... maybe she’s ticked that Aunt Carol didn’t come back for Lt. Trouble for so long?
