I also had a feeling it would be revealed the reason Nanodr doesn’t Guillermo to become a vampire is because he would lose Guillermo and he’d be sad. I still think that’s maybe the reason he won’t turn him. But it could be that he doesn’t reallhy plan to either for a long time.

I don’t think Guillermo being a vampire hunter and still wanting to be a vampire is conflicting. He doesn’t even want to be a vampire hunter in the first place.

I think it was because Benji was annoying him more than Elmo was and not because he had some new found respect for him?

The montage during the theme song shows Colin Robinson hasn’t changed for 60+ years. I don’t think there are any old paintings of him like there are of the other vampires, but there are at least one or two photos going back at least as far as 1960.

I thought it was pretty clear that Colin Robinson is supernatural (he feeds on energy, he did all sorts of crazy supernatural things when he became a supervisor in his office), and he “came with the house”, which makes his age unknown. As a day walker, I like to think he just tries to blend in with the rest of society.

I don’t think this episode feels out of sequence after what has happened in this season. Guillermo showed a lot of backbone that we haven’t seen before. His adventures killing vampires have given him the confidence he needed to stand up to Nandor and ask for the respect he deserves.

I’m surprised that Nandor didn’t kill Benji. Nandor seemed to have some murderous thoughts earlier in the episode, because he was holding a curved knife while Benji was talking about having a coffin next to Nandor’s.

“Documentary crew, I wanna eat you, so, so ba-a-ad”

NANDOR TURNED BENJI!!!!

This means that Colin Robinson is immortal and supernatural? It just showed that he’s not human.

“That’s my old pillow! God, I used to beat off into that thing every night.”

Poor Celeste, she just wanted to feel like a vampire. At least Guillermo was able to save the cat in the end.

I am very glad Guillermo saved the cat.

Yeah, one of the minor disappointments with all the shows after Crisis was I thought the other heroes would be mentioned or at least pop in more often now, and really other than than supergirl with the major plot changes, that really has not happened

I wrote the absence of the kryptonite dagger (and Andrea) off as part of the last minute editing. That said, I do hope Lena doesn’t try to use it someday.

Did I miss why Brainy’s plan only worked on elementals and not other Leviathan like Gemenae? But I love how Lex used it to usurp their power. Kara was always right about him because he is always the big bad. And due to external event not just for this season.

It was nice seeing Jesse Rath’s real-life sister Meagan Rath as the other Brainiac again, especially given how emotional their scenes were, with him wanting her with him so he didn’t have to die alone & her initially stunned that he was going to sacrifice himself to fulfill the mission she put him on, to take down

Oh, one more thing I liked: Lex’s dastardly plan. In particular, I genuinely buy that he was hoping Brainy would trap the elementals in a shrink jar. See, any lazy writer can write a genius simply by having things reach some random turn of events, and then the “genius” steps in and says, “all has unfolded exactly as I

There’s not one big moment that magically fixes Kara and Lena’s relationship. Instead, Lena gets the chance to prove her loyalty over and over again, sometimes in moments Kara doesn’t even see. The episode’s best sequence cuts between Kara convincing Obsidian Platinum users to leave the Unity Festival and Lena

Just like we protected the DEO?”
It’s not Checkmate, not yet.”

Ok, writers, if that was intentional then full bonus points.
