I agree it’s not worth a swap, which is why I have both. Except I have the regular Blue Cash, not the preferred, so just 3% back on groceries. But I use my Costco Visa for gas purchases, either at Costco or Shell, and I use my Chase Freedom or Discover at whatever gets me the quarterly 5% back.

And of course, when they talked about it on Gizmodo, everyone (correctly) pointed out that most of their headlines qualify as clickbait, particularly the shares from Sploid.

It’s not that inconvenient, the service desk has a shorter wait than any of the check out lines, and it’s about the same experience as cashing a real check at a bank with a teller.

That’s how it was with the Costco AmEx rewards coupon, although they didn’t exactly advertise that in big print. It was on there, but you had to read through it.

Year-round, I agree, that’s the best card, and I ended up getting the Blue Cash because of that 3% back on groceries, and also because I wanted to still have an AmEx after the Costco one was deactivated, since you also get the automatic insurance for car rentals, and free shop runner membership (neither used much, but

The 4% cash back is enough reason for me, I can use the card any time of the year that one of my other cards (Chase Freedom or Discover IT) isn’t doing their quarterly 5% back on gas (or if I’m at Costco and the 5% is only from Discover which I can’t use there anyway).

It won’t work at Costco because they won’t take American Express. Walmart might not either, since some cards that do seasonal 5% back at grocery stores often list Target and Wal-mart as exceptions to that because they don’t sell just groceries.

Right, but it’s better to charge that $50 purchase to get 2% back on it the next year.

Some say they make exceptions for who the rally behind, and I guess cosplayers are one of them.

The 2nd amendment is for ownership, open or conceal carry rights vary by state/city.

Except it’s quite relevant.

Lrrr agrees.

No argument here, I love burritos, and the only problem I sometimes have is with it being poorly assembled so that it falls apart or unfolds at the bottom, but that is the fault of whoever prepared it, not the burrito itself. When done right, and dry, it’s a very convenient way to eat whatever is inside. And wet is

Here’s a substitute for that last one. 4) Do I actually need to do this?

TiVo Roamio works with an antenna. The upfront cost is a lot, but if you get all the OTA channels, you’ll eventually save over a cable TV subscription + DVR service & rental fees.

Are you in a good location to pick up OTA channels? The CW also streams shows on their own website, I remember my antenna didn’t pick up the CW signal during an episode of Arrow and I was able to watch it the next night on the app (cast to my TV).

That’ll buy a lot of hamburger egg rolls, and probably lead to an eventual heart attack so at least the scammer would be dead.

The IRS reminds taxpayers that any request to settle a tax bill by putting money on any form of gift card is a clear indication of a scam.

Yeah, I used use Endomondo too, including paying for the “pro” verison, and they seemed to go downhill after being acquired by UnderArmor. Eventually, the app would regularly stop working during runs, and their customer service was non-responsive, which is when I gave up on them and switched to Runtastic (then

No need to apologize, I got it wrong and appreciate the correction. That’s what I get for using a word I don’t use very often.
