I had a similar reaction for Los Angeles. But at least now when someone in NY complains you can tell them to shut it.

It still sucks, but at least now my feeling that LA traffic is the worst (in the US anyway) has been validated. Anyone driving in another city can stop complaining to me.

Interesting, didn’t even think about that. I often get the generic allergy pills because they’re so much less expensive so I will count my luck that I’m not allergic to anything in them because they are so much less expensive. Also, even though it’s not the same kind it treats, it seems sad to be allergic to an

There’s another way, but it’s much more expensive: get a bigger home, then it won’t seem as cluttered.

There’s a few asshole tenants in my building that seem to think that it’s ok to throw their regular trash in there, like fast food bags or drinks. I wish our apartment was more strict and would set up cameras and evict the people who do that, or the ones that when the trash bins are full, have the genius idea of

They also have had their version of “Safety mode” as part of all their data plans, without an extra charge.

I’m assuming “the best things in life are free” doesn’t mean, “because that means someone else bought it and gave it to you, so of course that’s better”.

It’s certainly attention grabbing, good thinking on his part. I love how the cat has different color eyes. But gotta give that Akira Nishiya guy some credit for at least doing a fist pump in his poster. No cat, but better than just a head shot.

Your reasons for not playing as much anymore are better than mine, which was “there’s too many TV shows I like now and I don’t have time to watch them all and still play SF”.

Yeah, I remember those really lopsided match-ups. And for those, if you’re not playing a tournament, it’s probably better and less frustrating to just walk away.

That’s a good point about the bank fees. I’ve taken for granted that I don’t have to pay them because my last 3 jobs (including the current one) all provided direct deposit, which usually is a qualifier to waive the maintenance fee for most banks. But I’m sure there are many jobs that don’t provide direct deposit and

I completely agree. When I was a kid, I had a savings account at a BofA and they started charging a fee because I dropped under the $300 minimum so I closed my account.

Apparently, I should have read the fine print, or maybe not so small but ignored it anyway print, because I didn’t realize there was a charge to pull any extra funds needed from my savings. I just checked, and Chase charges $10, but I also saw that starting from August of this year, they’re discontinuing the $10 fee

I feel the same way. I used to play a lot of the SF4 series on PSN and it was always more fun doing endless matches with people around the same skill level, even though most of my online friends seemed to be just a level or 2 above me, so I’d lose more often than win, but then those wins felt pretty good and I didn’t

I’ve been able to take those mini liquor bottles, since they’re under 3oz. I just throw them in my ziplock with the other liquids and no one seems to notice/care.

And if it’s not allowed, don’t let them throw it away, just eat it right there, and claim that moral victory!

Wow, between this and not realizing actors in different roles I’m on a roll for not realizing stuff today.

That’s a good list, nice to see Dio, The Rolling Stones, and a few 80s bands represented in addition to the bands you listed.
