Farm trucks are reliable AF that’s why lol. No point spending the same $80k on something you can’t drive because it’s always in the shop, especially after the dreaded 60k mile mark on newish Bimmer. Plus, the cost to fix the damn thing.

LS smells like PBR and a corner store pre-packaged cheeseburger you have to warm up inside its plastic cover. Steams pours out while on your lunch break from “your own construction company” 3 days into installing floor tile on a 10 x 10 restroom insisting you’re serving your country by taking jobs back from illegals.

Akio’s Instagram is rad too. What an epic person and motorsport homie!

Later my fellow Texan. Hopefully you won’t be a stranger.

OPPO Class of 2011? or 2012 I don’t remember

Roll coal while dropping off the obese kiddos off at soccer, karate, baseball Fortnite practice.

They (auto manufacturers) be like that doe :’(

kick ass! I’ll check one out next week at the autoshow and hopefully the rep on the floor can answer a few more questions.

I have to at least check those out. Those 2 sister brands have been absolutely rocking it the last 10+ years

indeed, the long term benefits would overshadow any little detail like that. Adaptive cruise is the bee’s knees!

hopefully buddy. I’m getting mixed advise here but only real way to test is to borrow or Turo each one of the contenders to find out

That would be rad.

Awesome info! Much appreciated

O wow, that is a fantastic tip about the Leaf. I'll confirm with a Nissan master tech buddy but if true, that is a for sure no go for the Leaf. Damn

I think I'm going to take Doug's advice and use Turo to do so. It's worth it

red cars”

indeed TC. 40 mph is very rarely achieved. All just heavy stop and go, full climate control, full radio to not go insane, harsh summers (TX), lead foot when all possible safely for 2 hours to get from one side of town to another.

It’s honestly starting to look more like a toss up between a full EV like the Leaf or a more traffic/distance friendly plug-in hybrid like a Bolt/Volt over regular hybrids.

seems the full conditions the car would be placed through (climate control, radio, endless stop go, lead foot fever) doesn’t help this “actual range” variable

Houston traffic can be actual hell. 40 mph is rare on my stint and the summer is as hot as Satan’s huevo sack. Crawling the whole way and climate system will be at full max along with the radio so I don’t go insane.
