Bilbo Bama?

Saw a TV performance from them a week or two ago, and George's voice kept going midway through basically every line. Surprised they didn't pick it up (or, if they had, then act on it) a bit sooner.

Eurgh, Glenn is still not dead yet. Get on it, writers.

I usually dig this feature but this time round I gave up two films in.

Good god damn it why isn't Glen dead yet

Why no one has named a band after Hattie Jacques' pretentious cheese wog is beyond me.

All female Ghostbusters? I feel the exact same about this as I do about all thirty-years-later reboots/sequels. That said, fingers crossed it isn't going to feature Melissa McCarthy, who has consistently shitted up movies that may have otherwise been pretty interesting and will probably be all over this like a rash.

"Alien replicons from beyond the moon" has, for whatever reason, become the Simpsons line I most often find myself using in real life.

The Long Goodbye is an absolutely perfect book—until the ending. I think the film's radically different ending was actually superior to it. I just felt more than a little cheated by the end of it.
That said, I can't read a good Chandler novel without wondering how Mike Patton—probably via Tomahawk specifically—would

Both Fight Club and American Psycho far outstrip anything else their respective authors have written. Glamorama isn't bad, but it doesn't haunt me for weeks afterwards like my returns to American Psycho do. I'd also probably point towards L'uccello dalle piume di cristallo—none of Argento's other films have caught my

A whole article about Miami Vice, and no mention of "Out Where the Buses Don't Run"? Probably one of my favourite episodes of television ever.

In a pretty chest-hugging outfit, though.

Has Pam Grier ever done anything that wasn't awesome and/or arousing? Genuine question.

As much as I love it, I should have known my poor mother would not react well to Fantomas' Director's Cut.

Thanks. Now I have Diamond Head's "Out of Phase" in my head. That's going to last at least a week.

I made a genuine attempt to get all the way through the Splatterhouse reboot. I'm sorry for what I done.

I remember a similar account of a paralysed man whose gaming buddies were able to help him call the fire brigade when he realised there was a housefire and he couldn't get out in time. Hang on til I get googling.

You know what rocks? Channel 4 in the UK and Ireland routinely show syndicated Simpsons re-runs, daily, and they always loop back on themselves after about season nine or so. Guaranteed good times.

I've always hated the line "So hug me, and kiss me/ Then wipe my butt and piss me" from Faith No More's "Zombie Eaters". It's a fucking phenomenal song otherwise but that one was just an awkward line—especially since I generally love Mike Patton's lyrics.
