Schiavone turned in one of the best performances of his decades-long career. He was the glue of the program,”

It’s kind of frustrating how good NXT has gotten at mainlining their style into my veins. Like I appreciate that every Takeover has a zillion dramatic moments, in 5 matches, but Dear God.

NXT definitely benefits from having developed into a stunningly efficient delivery system for work rate, so they went out ready to perform PPV quality matches and they more or less delivered.

As someone who basically stopped watching wrestling when WCW folded in 2001 - aside from a few brief ventures in 2002-2005 when WCW talent invaded WWF at times - I’ve been curious about AEW. I started watching WWE about 18 months ago again and while I don’t keep up with it every week, I watch the PPVs with the network

I’ve been pretty burned out on NXT (particularly the Gargano/Ciampa era of it), so AEW which has had a bunch of fun shows already was the easy choice. AEW’s premiere wasn’t perfect but it had an exciting energy to it, and it really was just a lot of fun.

A little of both. There’s definitely a wider variety of sizes and in-ring styles among AEW’s roster (fewer huge bodies and less the classic “WWE style;” more fast-paced indie, hardcore, and harder-hitting Japanese styles) than you saw in WWF back in the day, but frankly WWE has been making the same push over the last

Did Schiavone learn what a sidewalk slam is yet?

I couldn’t disagree more. JR was glaringly bad. To say he sounds as though he’s phoning it in would be an understatement; He sounds like he’s pony expressing it.

AEW was a fun show, but NXT’s in-ring product and match quality blew AEW out of the water.

Went with my wife to look at new cars last week. We are in a good spot, don’t NEED one but were looking at deals and incentives so we can draw up along term budget - and also see if now is a decent time to consider.

That’s a shitty situation to be in. One of the best financial decisions I have ever made was to move from the northeast to Florida. Luckily, I am a remote employee of a Boston-based company, so I make Boston IT money, but I was able to buy a nice house for $90K. And no state income tax was like a $20K+ a year raise

I’ll say it - I can’t afford a new car at $18K. I was lucky to get a car valued at about $8K. If the home costs had not risen so much since the recession, I might be in a good place, but in my area they’ve gone up 50% and my wages have gone up ~10-20% in the same time frame.

I was just coming here to type this exact comment. People are hell bent on buying crossovers, and contorting their finances to do it no matter what. Excellent, much less expensive cars are still readily available. People are so deranged that they are buying terrible vehicles like the Ford Ecosport and Buick Encore

My guess is he has drank 18 beers a day for so many days that he thinks there are 5 days in a week.

He switches to Kirkland Original Bourbon-Style Corn Whiskey on the weekends.

He’s in a coma for the other two.

18 beers a day, five days a week.

Holy shit. I went to Vegas in Feb for a bachelor party and my buddy told us he was bringing beer and we didn’t need to worry. Turns out he bought two cases of this crap. Never again lol.

I always suspected that somewhere, across the Atlantic Ocean, my soul-mate was waiting for me.
