Leaving aside all judgment on promiscuity and health concerns, I just feel like this is an awful lot of work for one measly little drink.

Supposedly the woman thought the prize was a year's worth tuition to Duke

The outrage surrounding this video is a pretty precise measurement of the distance between straight culture and gay (male) subculture.

oh my goodness, that is one of my biggest pet peeves. Just watch the concert! noone cares about your shitty quality concert video. But I do feel like the conversation on the oppressed, on black people in particular has changed dramatically. Back in the 90's when black people would talk about police planting evidence,

I'm guessing this is one of those "I'm sorry I got caught" appologies rather than an "I'm sorry I'm a racist scumbag" appology.

Seeing how one of the major complaints of existing smartwatches have been the fact they don't look like watches, which hurts chances of mainstream adoption, a smartwatch looking like an actual watch is a great thing for proliferation of technology.

So...a device with 3.5" screen and a much larger battery barely gets a day's worth of battery life, but a basically identical 2.5" version is somehow going to last for 6 days?

Sometimes people don't read the full article then comment. You didn't even read the full comment. She gets it!

Quinn: ...what's that thing, when stuff turns out funny? Moronic?

All I would ask them to do is, when you have that first thought, make sure they have a second thought about it and do a little research. And if they still want to do it, go for it.

My guess is they changed their minds, or had no idea what having a dog was going to be like, and had to come up with a reason. One of my cats was returned to the shelter because allergies (so they said). We got him home and

I was going to say, I'm sure it's diet-related and would improve with time.

If the dog is farting too much, you are not feeding it the right food.

The other equivalent would be if someone made a candy in the shape of exaggerated noses and called them "Hebe-y Jeebies."

Congratulations, you are thinking exactly the way verizon and at&t want you to think. They want you to base your pricing decisions exclusively on the upfront cost, without looking at the long term cost at all.

...why don't you upload them to cloud? durrr

If you have the money to pay up-front you can save A LOT. Sure, I paid $350 to get my Nexus 5, but my pre-paid phone plan gives me unlimited data for $30 bucks a month and I'm free to take my phone and leave any time I want.

Well the idea is that your $150 phone will cost you much more over the course of two years than someone who buys a $300 phone but chooses a phone plan that is like $40 cheaper per month.
