Coming from someone who used to root all of his Android phones as soon as possible: a phone should not have to be rooted in order to be decently usable.
iOS might be smooth, but as an interface it is awkward as hell and frustratingly simplified/restricted.
I have both an Android and an iPhone, and Android far outshines iOS.
The rumor is that they will skip the S-naming convention. There haven’t been any rumors of them getting rid of the Plus model.
