I saw Neko Case last year, and we were informed before the start of the show that Neko banned all photography. She wanted people to experience the show, not behind a phone, iPad, or, camera. It was the most wonderful experience not to have to peer around people's raised arms and mobile devices.

The reason they're pushing 20% as the standard is because 15% is really the standard, but if they say 15% is the standard, then lots of people will still tip less than 15%. Saying 20% is the standard is a way of making sure they get 15%.
I'm not sure why anyone should expect that people not enjoy his work simply because his life has not been free of sin. How many of us have NOT committed crimes and can't get published? Guess being a boring, normal, law-abiding citizen isn't nearly as interesting - or worth nearly as much attention.
