More traveling, more days where I can’t post. So the theme is... black cars? i dunno lol
They get angrier every year.
I, for one, like this grille. I noticed a few small Hyundais that tried to do the same thing but ended up looking like chipmunks sticking their faces into a shopvac hose.
I shoot (and therefore scan) a lot of film. So I thought I’d share what I’ve learned about scanning. This is geared towards color, but it’s also relevant to black and white negatives as well.
To date, this is probably the best work vehicle I’ve ever seen in person.
I finally did it! I finally got an autofocus camera! And what a beast it is...
I just got back from Quebec City, so I missed a day. Here’s two to make up for it, starting with this strangely-badged wagon. Doesn’t quite pass the smell test...
For some reason I feel that this car looks rather melancholy.
Although they are not, these remind me a lot of pie plate wheels. And that makes me happy.

It was always closed, shuttered, and the realtor whose number was listed on the door never picked up the phone. I’m visiting my parents, and on my way to go pick up some more…
I recently picked up a 80-200mm F/2.8 telephoto zoom for a deal too good to pass up, and just got the chance to look at my test shots. It’s kinda hard to put my finger on why they look so different from similar compositions with shorter lenses, I think I’m gonna chalk it up to the telephoto compressing the depth of…
I take back my earlier implication that things with ridiculous quantities of Rs after the name are silly. The Mugen RR is a sweet car.
Having lots of R badges doesn’t make a car interesting. You have to look closer...
I forgot how hard this is. I think I need to make a few more practice mats before I mount and ship this one.
This is another oddball from the SF Bay area. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Revcon RV.
