Did someone mention the Acropolis where the Parthenon is?
Seriously, bucha freaking jerks. This is a blog dedicated to genre fiction and science-related stuff. It's not a bloody news site. I miss the days when jerk posts were usually the pink ones, and we could just pretend they didn't exist. I'm glad for this post. It was news to me.
And they could fight eco-terrorism as well. I'm sure Clive would agree to help create the organization for real.
PS2 has excellent potential. However, from what I've seen of the beta so far, it's just not there yet. This video is amazing though. If my game would go above 20 fps I'd give movie making a shot.

This must have been a rough moment for you.
It did have a 6 year head start, and they had the Cowboys affiliated with them for part of it so I'm sure that helped. Oh, and they've got FC Dallas, although I'm not sure that's a huge ratings boom.

I was about to say that I wish Sam the Robot was still an active character, but then I watched a clip or two of him, and yeah... not so much. The sketches are much cooler than the finished product.
I like the idea of a passenger ship as well. I just wish they had gone with a boat less overdone.
The concept of the risen dead is fairly common place in fantasy stories. As for stories where zombies are the primary focus I'm not sure.
I'm not quite tired of the zombie genre, but it's close. That said, this sounds awesome except for the fact that they went with the Titanic. I'm so tired of the Titanic. Personally, I would have gone WW1 and used the Lusitania and added the extra spice of submarine warfare. They could have the zombie thing be a result…
I'm not proud of this but here goes...
The only mythical being that would be capable of fighting the gray goo would be Starlight, but unfortunately he has a star instead of a horn so he can't be counted in this question.
Gray goo every time I'm afraid.
I agree. Someone needs to make a game adaptation of Harry Turtledove novels.
