I think everyone now accepts that launch systems that are able to rapidly separate crew from the massive bomb they’re essentially strapped to are preferable. Also ones that don’t throw ballistic chunks at their own heat shields during launch. The Shuttle was an incredible achievement and bit of engineering but in some

Simple - they run the gas producer at full tilt 100% of the time, and then put a wastegate between the actual turbine engine and the power turbine section. The throttle controls how much of the pressure and mass flow coming out of the turbine engine goes to the power turbine and how much shoots out the wastegate.

Europeans/Brits really love this kitschy, I mean awesome, car branded stuff (crap) moreso than Americans. It’s not uncommon to walk around the UK and see multiple Dad’s in their BMW or Mercedes ball cap, in their BMW or Mercedes Polo, with their BMW or Mercedes phone case, on the way to the gold course with their BMW

I know right. Why isn’t the thing I bought last year this years thing, why cant magic it into the new thing! *throws toys*

Don’t get me wrong, I love the old country, but I get used to kvetching about American roads and it’s always a bit of a shock the state of some of the potholes on B roads. I recently took a 911 around some on my last visit and it was a bit terrifying.

Never mind the tiny, narrow roads in shockingly poor condition.

Feel good horseshit. If you can’t overcome the cognitive dissonance of losing a finger to save your life then you deserve the consequences.

The only difference between those big ones and the newer smaller ones is the big ones used a lead acid battery and the smaller ones use lithium Ion.

The rocket was an issue right? Spent a a lot of time and energy on a bespoke hybrid that turned out to be unsafe/underperforming and now they’re going with a commercial option?

I came to give Harley’s a hard time, there’s no room for reason.

Right you are. One is a highly engineered high performance machine with the ultimate in traction, brakes, electronics, and safety gear worn by the rider - done so in a controlled environment on the worlds safest race tracks.

Trail braking in a car? Easy. Trail braking while tipping in on a motorcycle so that you’re contending with weight loading, contact patch size reduction, and body position changes at the same time. Actually hard.

No idiot. You see you cut taxes and then that juices the freedom juice levels which gives Trump the magic power he needs to make America great again without spending any money. That’s my understanding of these people’s reasoning at any rate.

Makes perfect sense for the eldery, injured, disabled, etc. For otherwise healthy people however, if getting into a sedan is a major issue for you, solve that by not being a lazy sack and develop a basic level of fitness. If for nothing else, so you’re not totally decrepit in your later years.

Have you considered the possibility that you are way too emotionally invested in the current state of internet Supra articles?

My bank would not blink, but if someone’s bank did, you just change banks or tell your bank you’re leaving. It is not illegal to fund crypto, just find a bank without that policy (personally I’m not putting any money into crypto right now, but technically speaking.)

Yes, you can. I’m curious what made you an authority on the non-liquidity of Crypto in the face of the fact that millions of people have millions of dollars in crypto and are able to move it without any serious issue. An acquaintance made well over $20mm on Bitcoin and liquidated plenty into a house, stocks, etc etc,

Uhm, no. Crypto is very liquid now. If you had 3.8MM of Bitcoin, you could move it onto GDAX, Gemini, etc and liquidate it in a few days at most, a few hours if you had to, no problems whatsoever. Funds wired to your account the same day. This picture your painting might have been tangentially accurate in say, 2009.

On an iPhone X/XS hold down the volume down and lock button until the power off screen comes off. This disables face/touch-id and the passcode is required to re-enable it. I think its the same on the older phones.

Most people understand fuck all about trade or economics so there’s that.
