I loved Anne and Mel together in 'To Be or Not To Be.' Brooks made that comedy with lots of drama (Nazis and Poland and hiding Jews and theater!) just for her. And they both were incredible in it. I always felt like Mel Brooks decided he needed a film that had a complete story line (not just lots of fun vignettes) as

Yes, he has an enormous talent!

Many of my ex-boyfriends knew to leave me alone whenever Ewan McGregor was on TV. Because there was going to be a lot of drooling on my part. And yes, I do have a thing for sexy Brits (like Clive Owen and Daniel Craig), especially Scots (like David Tennant and Peter Capaldi).

I love the group stretching!

In your example of terrible service, you also included what C.A. Pinkham mentioned: that a complaint should be made to the manager. Giving a small/no tip for terrible service needs to include that step.

He's friends with the right people. Because if Jude Apatow and co. like you, you're in!

I don't think anyone's really going to fight him over this 'honor.'

From my experience (but not expertise), grapefruit is just really special in its ability to mess with medication. I've never come across warnings against other fruits. But again, I'm not a doctor or pharmacist, so I can't say for certain.

Lots and lots and lots of medication reacts funny to grapefruit. I was on one (busparin (or something like that starting with a b) for anxiety) for a few years and just got in the habit of always avoiding grapefruit. I think there's something in the fruit's acid that makes digestion of the medication go wonky.

Yup, my first thought was 'Who wants a busted cervix?'

Or ripe projects for grad school.

I facetiously mentioned elsewhere that her Rikers experience would be great fodder for grad school projects. If she's already planning a book on it, she's gone one step further.

At the very least, she's got some fodder for grad school projects. She could treat it as a social anthropology participant observer project. Or a nice case study of one woman's experience.

I wonder if this is part of her being 'edgy' and 'controversial'.

I looked at the picture and she looks fine to me. But it shouldn't matter what she looks like or how 'far' in her transition process she is. She asked for a bra fitting and was denied unless she showed government ID to 'prove' she was female.

I was bummed when I moved to the UK and found out it's illegal here too.

I'm glad that the lower dose is working so far. I know I'm incredibly lucky that a) Paxil has worked for me so well for so long and b) that I managed to get something that worked so well for me on the second try (4-6 months on Zoloft, and it didn't do a whole lot for me).

My thinking exactly!

According to Susan K., the ex-convict who reviewed a bunch of Season 2 episodes, there probably is too many men on the show already, as most of the guards should probably be women. Of course, this may differ between state and federal prison, as Susan K. was in state prison and they got rid of male guards because of

What do you think the book on Wonder Woman will be about? Obviously all the men in the Wonder Woman comic!
