Not to mention being cruel to Brienne just because the writers could. Create happiness to destroy it. They could have had the same ending with him just sneaking off after the ice zombies dropped.

They completely undid Jaime’s arc.

Honestly maybe even worst served than Dany’s arc was Jaime’s.

What in the seven hells was Jaime’s plan? Did he seriously want to run back to Cersei, even when it was clear she hired a hitman to kill him? The framing of their death being tragic was really weird.

You have a very well reasoned take.

Yes, but two moves isn’t going to be considered a set, anymore than two notes would be considered a musical composition.

The hurdle he’s most likely to run into is that neither of the component elements of the Carlton dance is original.

Dumb Lawsuit is dumb.

We live in the Dumbest Timeline.

I was really hoping for “MADE BY THE DEVELOPERS OF FALLOUT” and “AND THE DEVELOPERS OF FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS” to be followed up with a “AND NOT THE DEVELOPERS OF FALLOUT 76".

While I agree that what they did with 2 Milly’s dance is wrong, Donald Faison doesn’t have a leg to stand on.

His dance wasn’t at all unique. It’s merely a combination of the running man, along with footwork cribbed from Bell Biv Devoe themselves. Honestly, look at some of their lives performances from the time around

There is no legal precedent for this. The case will be thrown out immediately.

Holy shit, with this logic its a good thing everyone knows white people by definition can’t have culture.

Is he going to share those proceeds with the choreographer who actually made the dance?

I respectably disagree. This is ultimately a conversation about ownership and what can and can’t be owned. I don’t think being able to own something like a dance move is a smart idea. And I do think that in the hands of the wrong people, 10 year olds would be hunted down. Just look at how Disney and Nintendo treat

None of this. I think we need to be careful about what we allow people to “own” as theirs and theirs alone. I think dancing is specifically a slippery slope. This can lead to policing and penalizing how people move their own bodies. A dance move might seem pretty specific, but how do you draw the line to what people

Legally speaking, it may NOT qualify as a protected dance. That’s for the court to decide, but the legal precendent is that “simple routines” and “social dance steps” are not protected.

Everyone trying to steal a piece of someones success....

I dont know how someone gyrating around is a “culture” honestly. This isn’t some ancient dance from a particular sect of people through history. This is just a dance move that a specific rapper is claiming is his and nobody can use. He lives in modern day USA. The move is from freakin 2014

Holy shit, great catch. It’s the exact same, the only thing they changed was the word “Kill” to “Win”.
