I’m still skeptical of this whole Kate and Meghan issue. I feel like its just the media making a big to-do about nothing. I think they are all laughing in their castle at all this horse-shit the media comes up with.

It also separates the violence from the other parts of the cycle of abuse when every part, including and especially the sweet apologies and “I love you’s,” are what makes the whole so terrible.

I have this problem (and I’m white). Especially problematic for me are white men with beards. I live in Portland so I pretty much never use anyone’s name and just nod and say “great to see you again” to cover for the fact they all look identical.
