Rose bugged me in TLJ. Not because she was a woman or because of her ethnicity, but because she seemed to have been introduced mainly to be forced into a relationship with Finn. I liked the character, but the forced “romance” pissed me off to no end.

The thing that gets me is that Rose’s involvement in the plot literally wastes everyone’s time, and actively derails what would have been a pretty complete arc. Honestly, I think Finn should have died on Crait and destroyed the mini-death star battering beam. But, Rian “Subversion” Johnson wasn’t going to throw that…
