People seem to disagree but I honestly think Tell Tale Signs (Bootleg Vol. 8) is his best late-period album. "Love & Theft" is close behind, along with Time Out of Mind and Modern Times. The rest you can take it or leave it (Tempest has some classics). His most underrated may be World Gone Wrong.

People who are shitting on his "rant" are delusional. That was sort of amazing. When you actually hear what he is saying, you'll be surprised you're hating on a black artist talking about trying to break barriers set up by white corporate america.
