MS is one of the biggest companies in the world. They could have easily paid someone to do this. It wouldn’t have hit them at all. It’s pennies to them. Hell, I’m sure they are already paying an artist who could use more work.

The real shortcoming is Bethesda’s continued insistence that they use the Creation engine - an engine that was outdated 10 years ago.

The Last of Us is a really terrible game and I’m tired of pretending it matters. It’s over dramatic schlock from a failed screenwriter and has awful gameplay.

The developers CAN be untalented and unambitious, sure, but that’s downstream from the problems with the publisher.
