Must be nice living in such a black and white world. Don’t have to question anything. Just believe people deserve what they got. Helps you not really think about if you deserve what you have or not.

Why do you think they didn’t try to parent them? Why do you think their first choice was to sue? That seems like a whole lot more effort than parenting don’t you think?

Do you think they are morally without fault if they haven’t been?

Man that’s so easy to say. What if it’s a family computer? What if you use the playstation to watch movies with the family?

I know folks keep saying to parent their kids, but it goes beyond that even. These games are intentionally designed to be psychologically manipulative. It’s how they get the money and play time that they do.

I love a good discussion - just not with someone who thinks they have all the answers.

You’re right. There’s no evidence to show how a popular and well liked service could go to shit after it has changed ownership.

It’s a bit naive to think that the people in charge of Valve will always be in charge of Valve.

Vinland Saga is the only one of the bunch worth the time.

People only liked Witch from Mercury because it was sorta gay. And not even overtly gay. Just, like, hints at gay. Even at the end they couldn’t give people what they wanted to see.

Why would he do that? What about the last decade of Valve has made you think they have any other interest than making as much money as possible?
Even the one game they released recently was made just to sell hardware.

I didn’t enjoy the MGS games one bit.

If there’s one thing gamers wont tolerate - it’s even vaguely threatening to take away their skimpy/booby model replacements!

I liked the gears game, but the newest one really have lost the touch. They take themselves so seriously. I don’t really need a reason to kill horrific monsters from underground.

What a waste of time.

Guy could have actually been doing something with his life. Making something of himself. But he does this?

And yet anytime someone recommended we play smash it was me, a guy who played games for fun and entertainment, vs 3 guys who want to turn off all the items, play in the most boring levels and know the best moves for their favourite character.

I still don’t understand how this game has a competitive scene at all.
