Yeah, it sucks. It should have been impossible to begin with and it shows just how draconian the system is. Exclusion until/unless invited makes sense, but given there’s no real vetting process it feels more eclusitory than I imagine it was supposed to. Especially as a site wants clicks.

That’s very true, though I’ve seen so many unpleasant people manage to get out the greys and I remember the whole debacle with Dr. Emilio Lizardo and the random person pretending to be them. Not sure if that’s still going on or not, but it seemed so unsettling.

Aww, thank you :3 That’s very nice of you to say. A shame I’ve been in the greys for so many years though as I'd probably ne more active on here tryong to bring good cheer. Silly system they have.

Oh the RWD spin out is bleeeeeh.

Legend of Heroes: Trials of Cold Steel 2 has a heartbreaking moment early on where the main character (a male student) breaks down and cries as a close friend supports him. It's so super rare to see characters portray vulnerability, but it makes them so much richer.

It also seems wildly inconsistent, track-to-track. Trial Mountain: Reverse with the American Only mini-cup is pretty horrid. The first (well, last) S-bends have had the AI ram into me so often than it just starts to feel deliberate. One race, I swear every car I overtook was after me, like a grid of vengeful

Being an annoying fangirl is most definitely not a life goal, certainly. Also generally the thing keeping me away from social media is the self-promotion of average people doing it at the expense of others. Maybe it’s changed over the years, but it was never a fun thing to see friends start tearing at each ither

I mean, that’s the issue with “No expense spared” because it’s never really true (I mean it’s basically impossible). I suspect they were told their series budget early on and did their best to accommodate it efficiently. The higher ups at the umbrella Warner/HBO/etc. have messed up before on budgets with Swamp Thing

I don’t use Spotify sadly, but that does sound awesome.

Yeah, his death was part of the problem. Even back then I was acutely aware if how little representation there was in... well, everything, amd the only hero in the film to die was black felt icky. All you missed was them make bringing him back the hook for the sequel. Undoing a death is never a great idea, and it just

We used to have a TV series here in the UK called ‘Round the Bend’ that was basically a sketch show of mostly spoof children’s shows. They did at least two spoofs of TMNT: Teenage Mutant Ninja Toilets and one with geriatrics.

I suspect a lot of that comes down to a restrictive deal on how many episodes the money they got could cover. Had they realised how successful and acclaimed this would be, I feel it probably would have been given at leat three more episodes.

The extension definitely sucked, and I sadly don't think it'll ever be looked at again. Too many corporations now benefit (and Disney have way too much power/influence).

That's why I said about it feeling odd. I don't have any issue with works entering public domain and in some cases it can be very productive because a good idea that was initially poorly executed (be it because of societal changes or generally bad prose) can be made to shine. On the other hand, hack writers will

I’m glad she’s still working as she’s always done interesting films. I think she’s been more low-key working throught the last twenty years when I quickly glanced on IMDB, but mostly quite small roles, it seems. Hopefully she’ll get a chance to do something like Mare of East town, or turn up as a regular in

I can too, sadly. And as you say, a lack of creativity in Hollywood is not a new phenomenon.

Mary Poppins needs to be protected at all costs from this ghoul!!! I can picture the horrific scene around a ‘spoonful if sugar’ being deeply disturbing.

Maybe he's holding onto some immortality-giving serum and is merely going to wait a very long time until he strikes again. Like some kinda B-movie circada. Every 17 years, BOOM, another childhood IP made into horror, then he'll slink back into the darkness to wait... and wait...

Huh? No, I love Thora. I had a massive crush on her for years and always thought it was a shame she seemed to disappear (and I don’t think this film helped). It was super weird seeing her in a late Walking Dead episode because of that.

At the very least, it can’t be as bad as that Dungeons and Dragons film from the way back with Thora Birch, Jeremy Irons, etc. right?
