I mean, that’s the issue with “No expense spared” because it’s never really true (I mean it’s basically impossible). I suspect they were told their series budget early on and did their best to accommodate it efficiently. The higher ups at the umbrella Warner/HBO/etc. have messed up before on budgets with Swamp Thing

I suspect a lot of that comes down to a restrictive deal on how many episodes the money they got could cover. Had they realised how successful and acclaimed this would be, I feel it probably would have been given at leat three more episodes.

I always feel that if the sex scene makes sense, it’s fine. The first time I ever saw The Terminator, I was rather confused how she was pregnant because I was a child and the sex scene was cut. I knew enough to know the basic “when a man loves a woman” but was already very aware it wasn’t literal. The sex scene

This is probably for the best. I mean, I kinda get absurd the logic of a spell that can magic away poop on the floor (handy for pets and such), but I don’t think she ever went into elaborate detail about whether or not it also magically cleans your butt. I shudder to think what the inside of their robes must have

As I replied earlier in here, I’m personally attacked by her views because of transphobia, but as you say, we’re not the only group she seemingly hates (or at the very least looks down on).

Ignoring how her views personally affect me, I have one question I need answering desperately.

Nothing to apologise for. I always say that your pain is yours, as only you know how it affects you. Two people can have the same traumatic experience or toxic upbringing but come out of it very differently.

That’s exactly the problem, I think. The whole group think echo-chamber mentality. The struggle is getting enough disparate voices into the room to show it for what it is, and to do that you have to have the strength to put up with it.

Thank you for saying that. I just have a lot of trouble with self-worth that goes back to when I was very young.

Back before I’d come out as trans to anyone, I’d already been threatened with rape twice in WoW, and that was just me, in the game, standing around with my character.

I live in England (my family roots run deepnl into at least the 1800's on all sides and I've the pasty skin to prove it), and can tell you that yes, Clarkson is racist. And sexist, and a massive hypocrite. The only reason things didn’t blow up sooner is because of his buffoonery. The irony being that two people he has

They were great. I think it's a shame that people probably so readily dismissed the show. I mean, I get being put off by the premise, but given how crazy it was, I could just enjoy it for the camp.

I think I'd lost track of how long ago it happened and imagined them as being in their thirties now, though as they'd likely want to cover their actual meeting up and such, I feel they're far more likely to cast younger. Sad to hear one of them's passed. The whole situation that led to it all was pretty awful, if I

The only two things I feel was strongest in ME1 were the sense of scale and the ammo system. Both are subjective and preferences, of course, but the former is something that I think actively harmed the series going forward, as the whole Reaper threat took away the sense of having a galaxy to ‘explore’ and replaced it

There’s a not-insignificant part of me that wishes someone would try this again with a much larger city and maybe more paths leading the its end. I felt in DA2 that most of what you did ended up feeling a little superfluous because the ending kinda railroads all actions into basically your last choice.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Everything I know about this story would suggest he’s the right age for a parent or other adult in their lives, not the triplets themselves.

Given so many Easter eggs related to Michael Caine (including a street in the first series named Micklewhite), his almost uncanny impression of Caine circa Alfie and the general tone, I always felt the same way.

When it comes to Lego sets, I’d have thought Waapons (Ultima, Ruby, etc.), Escape from Midgar, Midgar itself and the Highwind.

In defence of Rhianna, she was having to write the story to the action, not having any input in real plot.

I always thought of Dumbo’s mother as analogous to mothers and women in general being locked up in asylums when they became “problematic”. Her whole arc seems to be having to deal with being dragged away from trying to protect her baby as if she was the one with the problem, then for the film to repeatedly state that
