He was interviewed as part of PBS’ coverage of Dobbs back in June, where he discussed why he changed his views on abortion. Broadly-speaking, he realized that the society he lives in doesn’t support parents and their children once they’re born, and saw that the anti-abortion movement had shifted from a moral, Christian

Democrats need to stop playing by rules that no longer exist. Biden and every progressive Democrat should be in full throated apeshit mode every damn day for expanding the Court. Equally they should be in an absolute freak out over Dobbs at the same time. Yet all we get is derp derp dee poo poo whaddya gonna do. It’s

I have a feeling that Gorsuch is going to be one of those guys the conservatives look at it 25 years and be like, “Wait, who vetted this asshole again?”

Every accusation is a confession with these assholes

Schenck said he decided to come forward with the information because he realized what he did—leveraging access to the conservative justices to raise money for his nonprofit—“was wrong.” His views have also shifted on abortion rights in recent years, and he now considers himself a “progressive evangelical leader.”

What does it even matter? We give them unchecked power for life with absolutely no possibility of anything happening other than some op-eds. It’s not like there will be any drawbacks or fallout for this scumbag on any level.

“They don’t put attractive people like me in jail...

...unless they defraud other rich people.”

She always make me think of that scene in My Cousin Vinny where Joe Pesci is explaining to Ralph Macchio how the prosecution’s case is like a playing card. It seems impressive if you look at it at exactly the right angle, but at any other angle you can see that nothing’s there.

Let’s revisit this after they’ve sentenced her literal partner in crime.  If he gets less than 135 months ... you might have a point.  If not, then ... likely not.

“I can’t help but think that the justice system continues to make examples out of women who dare to ...”

Medical cmpany. Perhaps Theranos will find out from first hand experience that health care for prisoners who are pregnant is terrible, bad, and risks lives. Perhaps do something about that as someone wanting to do something for the health of people.

It probably doesn’t help that we still use their terminology, “influencers”, instead of what are likely more accurately descriptive terms like “’net randos”, “unvetted bloviators”, or “lying shills”

This is a reminder that the only crime that the wealthy and powerful will be held accountable for are those crimes that financially hurt other wealthy and powerful people. She fucked around with wealthy investor’s money and found out.

“They don’t put attractive people like me in jail.”

From another source: the consumers who used the health-testing services provided by Theranos won’t get the ending they had hoped for. Holmes was found not guilty on three charges of defrauding patients and one charge of conspiracy to defraud patients.”

If you wanted to only look at the medical outcomes for patients who received false blood results and may have taken advice premised on those results... That’s an unknown since the victims are still facing the impending medical treatments to resolve their illnesses.

The rhythm method is great.

The right wing packed court that hates women? The court that will allow the republicans to steal the next election?

She’s worth several billion dollars, and he at least a few hundred million. Those laws don’t apply to them. If they want to be married, they will be somewhere.
