The most upsetting part of that helicopter footage (and I'm confident we're talking about the same footage via wikileaks) is that the only time the flight crew seemed to get worried was when one of those non-threats on the ground almost got away unkilled.

There are other really good non-military examples. I want the president's advisers to be free to give him unfettered advice, without fear it will later be made public, for instance.
