If the Bolt comes out with full autonomy at some point I might consider it.

I’m planning for all of this to be true. I’m waiting for the model 3 to show up, but if it does and if they roll out automated driving (meaning it is approved by DOT and NHTSA and functioning) the model 3 will be the first new car I have bought since 2006.

How expensive do you think his women are?

“We are the most boring company since Elon Musk’s Boring Company.” Actually, that’s a great idea. Toyota should have just trademarked “Boring company” then they could be suing Musk right now instead of trying to convince us the sky is green...

The problem with auto loans going this direction is they aren’t the only financial bubble waiting to pop. The bond market is in a bad place. Student loans are in a bad place. Commercial real estate is in a weird place. The question is will one of those sectors collapsing start a chain reaction and lead us into another

Can we please do this on I35? It might actually make the commute bearable.

Depends on how many points your passenger offers...

Holy crap I had no idea this was a thing. I would think old school wheels with more spokes would be safer in this case then? Or do I need to think about sharpening my spokes now that I live in a squirrel-rich environment? (It slices. It dices!)

How is this sort of career viewed any more prestigious than a carnival booth operator!? God bless America!

Am I the only one who just doesn’t get off to leaks of new cars? Are there really an abundance of Jalops drooling for leaks trying to methodically complete the pros and cons list for their next car 6 months from now? I thought we all agreed it was better to buy this 635CSI (https://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/6032962

This. So much this. The best part of them buying Saab was being able to sit in a Spyker on the showroom floor.

Sometimes when we park the Porsche next to the porch I have a hard time deciding which one to sit on and which one to look at. I just love them both SO MUCH.

What if I want to make my own choices? Why do you get to tell me what to do with my money?

I don’t *think* there will be reprogramming during the race. So far everything they have shown on the Devbot requires the car to be stationary and physically plugged in to establish communication. I hope it will stay that way so the teams really have to “own” their software package.

I think you’ll wind up rooting for the *team.* Yes, basically you’re rooting for the programmers. I think you’d find yourself already rooting for the programmers if they had published the video of the Devbot car dodging the stray dog at Buenos Aires. I hope we’ll see the cars programmed quite differently from team to

“I can find 0 flaws in this logic!” FTFY

I would say, given the speed and size of the truck, the fact that no one was killed is a demonstration of the miracle that is modern crash science!

We should try it and see what kind of distance we can get...

So I take it you’re NOT a fan of the Cadillac ATS?
