I think there was something like that called ‘Suds’ in my hometown.

It was Seattle, there was a bar, and you could step outside and smoke a joint between sets.
Agreed! I lived in an apartment that had a dishwasher and got excited at first (I grew up without one), but when I would rinse the dishes before loading them, I ended up completely washing them. Then making sure the machine was full before using it.
Yes, yes, yes.
I’ve heard great things about this one! I see it’s streaming on Shudder. Not sure how I missed this one, but it’s now on my short list :)
I try to do that when possible also. However there was a huge blow up recently about restaurants that didn’t even sign up having their numbers added to those services and then they get charged a fee. Or even if they signed up, the number that shows up when you googled them, being the one grubhub uses. So even if you…
I used a meal delivery service exactly once. The driver was handed two orders at the same time. Mine was 1 minute and a half from the restaurant, the other was a half-hour in the opposite direction. I got my meal over an hour later. I called the restaurant when the meal was late and was told what happened, so I called…
Same. I don’t like the idea of adding a third party into it, adding more fees and having little connection with the restaurant. Heck, most of the time I just go pick it up myself.
No I’ve never used one either. I’m in a rural area where only pizza places deliver, all 10 of them in my town of 2k people, so the delivery apps really aren’t necessary here.
I will say this as many times as I have to. If you want to stop Hitler, you kill Kaiser Wilhelm in his crib. He was a sickly child anyway, so most people won’t notice and the next people in line for his throne were peace-loving. If there’s no World War 1, there’s no World War 2. Also, Lenin doesn’t get shipped into…
There’s gotta be an Austin Powersish episode. Right?
All mushrooms are edible, some more than once.
Or hungry enough!
The better ones have salad un-dressing.
Lol, Twilight Zone.
Good Lord. They make 9qt and 13qt Dutch ovens. I think the 13qt are used in the qualifying rounds of the World’s Strongest Man competition. They’re also like $600 retail. I so love it when the TJX / Marshalls / Home Goods clerk has no idea what something should cost and just pulls a number from thin air.
Aimee, and it’s not really that close. Skillet, chef’s knife, wooden spatula... that’s, like 90% of my daily utensil usage.
Also, Allison lost points because air-popped popcorn is bad. Even after dumping butter and salt on it, the texture just isn’t right. YOU LOSE, ALLISON.
i had a real problem with them a few years ago and after a year and a half of traps poison and professional help i still had them. got two barn cats and in less than two weeks i didnt have any. then maybe 3 months ago i started noticing stuff in my garbage chewed up. they wont come in the house because the cats will…
I have it on good authority that supersonic lead does a pretty good job of getting rid of them.
Many cats probably spend way more time in-doors than they’d normally do now as well because their humans are locked down.
That would cut down on the murdering they usually do in rural areas quite significantly, as a result you’d have far more young animals than normal.
