I get that, and will ad that it’s also fun not knowing what episode is coming up next. I’m much more likely to watch three random hours of L&O: SVU than seek out specific episodes.

In a better world, Dean Stockwell would be one of our most beloved actors. The work he did when he was younger still holds up. Check him out in Compulsion - it’s a magnificent piece of work on his part.

I can kind of see what you mean. I chalk it up to something I just coined called “80s mugging”. Basically those action-drama-with-light-comedy shows where the male lead would make some sort of facial expression that was meant to impart a light moment in an otherwise dramatic plot. You’d see it a lot in later seasons…

It’s so great for cheesy sci-fi movies, forgotten 90s-00s shows, and full (re: as full as network TV will allow) versions of MST3K movies, in addition to MST3K! It’s a great day when I can watch the actual Robot Holocaust and the MST version in the same day.

If you have El Rey network, they just started airing it...

Men of a Certain age was such a great show, with at great cast too. Beyond Bakula, Andre Braugher was great. Hell even Ray Romano was good in it.

I miss Caribou, they closed all of them in my area :(

Oh man how I miss Caribou, all the ones in Atlanta, that I’m aware of closed. Definitely superior to SB in my personal opinion.

Same here; for some reason, no particular episode ever really stuck in my mind except for the monkey leap. I really think that the Comet network should pick it up. They have loads of airtime to devote to marathons.

Just checked it out—it really is awful. An unmitigated spew of blurry browns, yellows and oranges.

To be fair though, the lousy photography is not surprising given the use of “bae” in the name and the braggy, overly self-confident tone. Why is the page logo a broken fork? Is the terrible food photography hinting at…
