I cut waaaaaaay back over the past 6 months. Mostly because I have a fitness goal and beer is anathema to that, but also because it was becoming and every DAY situation which can lead to badness.

Towards the end of the summer, I cut down on the drinking, but in December, between going on vacation at the beginning of the month and the holidays, I have been hitting it a little too hard lately.

If you ever find yourself in northern California, a stop by their tap room is always fun, especially since there are a few other great places nearby up and down the 101.

Rogue also has a pretty mild coffee flavor. Actually, most of their flavors are pretty mild. That may be why they get a lot of hate, but I have had a few beers I really enjoyed from them, particularly their coffee beers.

The Publican has a cookbook, it seems to have good reviews but I’ve not read it and don’t know if this recipe is in there or not.
