Branch now says that the pair have entered couples therapy and hope to turn over a new leaf in their relationship.

I don’t watch G4TV (and probably don’t even have access to it) but when a big announced partnership of the relaunch was with Smosh, which have become a rather good improv Youtube channel of late but are long past their peak cultural relevancy, it doesn’t sound like things were being run well there.

...Bold choice, using a phenomenon that’s basically a huge particle effect, for your streaming TV show, a format notoriously bad at rendering particle effects...

Keep politics away from gaming please.

On top of everything else going on in that movie to have Michael Keaton steal every scene he is in is just amazing.

Like I said, I don’t know, or care, about playing games on Windows computers, but I do know that Windows computers (today) are incredibly unreliable and don’t know how many times I’ve gotten a panic text from my wife trying to teach her class and the computer that runs the slides just randomly decides its time to

If you actually read Tolkien, it’s clear that a major theme of his work is rejecting toxic masculinity, even if he was a few decades too early to articulate it in those terms. Depends on the movie. Comedy and horror work great in a crowd. Other stuff. Not so much.

In all seriousness, the “communal experience” of film is overrated.

In fact, the subdued approach to the film’s conversion makes the 3D almost unnoticeable

But films like Dune, or this summer’s Top Gun: Maverick, exemplify moviegoing experiences that feel more magical in a communal experience in front of the biggest screen possible. That still can’t be replicated in anyone’s living room.

You know, I saw the trailer where Kevin Hart is doing his usual schtick, then is flummoxed while standing in front of a whackily naked Mark Wahlberg, and then violently hurls a mountain-lion cub, and I was sure this was a winner.

Sly is mad that he’s no longer one of the biggest box office stars. This man has such a monstrous ego that he went to the writer of the book on which “Cobra” was [loosely] based, asking to replace her name with his.
